Allen Leads Madison 2001 All-city Cross Country Team

Doug Allen, the only Madison qualifier for this year's WIAA Division 1 state boys cross country meet, led the way in balloting for the All-City team honored Monday night at the All-City banquet at Madison West High School.
Allen, a Madison Memorial senior who won the Madison city meet, finished 38th overall at the WIAA state meet and joined teammates Triston Brown and Tony Ayala on the All-City squad. Colin Bugg, Sander Hunter, Rider Clauss and Kyle Simmons, who led Madison West to the city team title, also made the team.
The All-City girls team was honored last week.
