2002 Madison West Regents Runners Top All-City Team

Junior Rider Clauss and senior Sander Hunter, who led Madison West to a berth in Saturday's WIAA state cross country meet, were among five Regents runners named to the boys All-City team honored at East High School.
Clauss won the Madison City Meet and finished second to Middleton's Ricky Reusser at the Big Eight Conference meet. Hunter finished second at the city meet for the Regents, who rolled to the city and conference team titles.
Fellow West runners Robert Joynt, Kyle Simmons and Eric Lewandowski joined East's Noah Seligman and Pat Hergenrother and Memorial's Tony Ayala on the first team.
Seligman will join the Regents in the Division1 state meet Saturday at The Ridges in Wisconsin Rapids.
